No cat pee in the family room for over a week. Yeah! The electronic fencing is GREAT, works like a charm. If Emma gets too close to the boundary, the collar beeps three times. After the third time, they get a "correction" (that's what the company calls it). Anyway, she learned fast - after the first beep she gets the &^%$ out of there.
Unfortunately, she peed in the laundry tub downstairs, directly below the spot where she peed in the family room. ::sigh:: She must have GPS in her head. We can't limit her access to the basement so I am at a loss on what to do. It isn't a huge problem yet because it was easily cleaned up. However, if she pees somewhere else downstairs, I just don't know. She may have to go.
I liked both of these pilots so I watched their second episodes last night:
"Bones" - Eh. Lukewarm for me tonight. The bomb plot has been overdone on every show, and frankly, 24 does that kind of thing a whole lot better. Also, I thought the whole Tess relationship was very heavy handed. A lighter touch - just a hint - would have been more effective.
I do like the characters and the chemistry so I will give it a few more tries.
"Supernatural" - I'm really digging this show. Very creepy moments and one spot last night where I physically jumped and gasped. The look of the show is great and two hunky guys - how can you resist? Seriously, this comes the closest to TXF in my mind. Of course, it is David Nutter, so no coincidence there. Still, really enjoying this show.
Lost premiers tonight! Yippeeee. Should be interesting, even if we don't find out what is actually in the hatch until - oh - about Christmas.
Met with a former manager about a very interesting project in the works - and this manager would like me to join the team. I've been thinking it is time to move - I've been in this position for 2.5 years now and it is getting old. Plus, there is this "vibe" around here that has been dragging me down lately. I'm not sure if I can explain that. Anyway, we'll see how it progresses. I have a sooper sekrit meeting to chat with the big boss of this project later this week.
I just KNOW my boss is going to make any move on my part a difficult thing. There is office drama a-brewing.
