All of a sudden she made a break for it and raced across the room to the far end: beep-beep-beep ZAP, beep-beep-beep ZAP before she raced back out of the room

I'm sure he'll TRY by making up an equally ridiculous statement like: "I only allow 2 people a year to leave my department and I've already have 2 leave."

No really - he SAID THAT TO ME.

He indicated that I couldn't move until he found a replacement and I trained that person, which could take months since I have such a "unique" job and my skills "can't be found easily within the company".

No bull, man... you should impart to him how important it is that he keeps you happy if he wants you to stay and/or give him more than two weeks notice.

I've had 4 bosses over the past two years and I can say this: 1.) he annoys me the most, and 2.)he is the hardest one for me to get along with.
