i feel like such a freakin' drag queen. i went to target today and bought maybelline full and soft, maybelline lash discovery waterproof, and cover girl volume exact waterproof. sadly, none of them worked for me. yes, even w/ the shiseido mascara base. i need more volume and bigger lashes more more more. looks like i'm gonna stick to diorshow, but

Definitely try the WP version of Full 'n Soft--it's my go-to mascara and it works rather well w/ the Shiseido base. I get minimal to no smudges, so long as I keep the area beneath my eyes relatively dry or oil-free.
