Help!

I'm trying to post some pictures I scanned and everytime I do, they are HUGE. I re-sized them in photobucket, but when I copy the link, it's always big again. Does anybody know how to fix this? I thought about just doing an LJ cut with a large photo warning, but the LJ cut thing isnt working for me either. You just type the code in where you want

In photobucket I choose the code for blogs. Its always worked before, but the only difference this time is they are scanned pictures and not digital.

And as for the LJ cut...I put in the code that was in the tutorial, but when I hit "preview" nothing was under a cut...I dont know!! Wah! :-(
