USA Baby!!! ;P (Sorry, just had to get that out of my system.)
I was shocked by Spain's loss as well though I only heard about it after the fact as the early matches start at 4 am here. Unlike you, I'm not dedicated enough to get up quite that early. Germany did look wonderful against Australia and South Africa did well in the opener (though not against Uruguay).
I loved the NY Post headline 'USA wins 1-1'. So obviously tongue-in-cheek and deliciously witty and yet I heard so many people moaning, thinking it was serious. Slovenia shouldn't cause you too much bother tomorrow.
I often wake during the night anyway (and I tend to go right back to sleep) so I'll just see what happens. If I don't wake up then I'll just look up the result in the morning.

Weirdest moment of the World Cup (and maybe my life): realising that I'm actually cheering the North Koreans defensive strategy...
I tweet! Been on it for a few months, already on over 2k tweets... It's addictive ok? You'll find a fair few Sports personalities to follow though, it can be very good. I warn you though it does take some getting used to and understanding.
Although I just hate their regime, I agree with you, it was odd and I couldn't help but root for them. They were such underdogs. And if not for the spark of Maicon's goal, they might well have kept it even closer.
I think I'll sign up, I love the interactivity of it with the World Cup and most definitely for sport. So many people leave BBC Sport their opinion by Twitter.
