The first letter (or email, as it were) of rejection for a couple years stings only a little bit. I suppose it serves as a memento mediocre (I'm making this up?) and motivation to push myself the bit I need. I do not like it when:

-people say "alumni" to mean "alumnus" or "alumna" (though I am flexible on usage of "alum")

-I keep hitting the snooze on days when I could potentially get up early

-I sign up to tutor on my free days, when I should really just stay home and work, or maybe run errands

Annie B. (suite-mate, extraordinaire) is super cool for, among myriad other qualifying feats and traits: competing in an impromptu jig-off on St. Patrick's Day. Complete with a cane.

I may be the only person in my apartment that doesn't like the idea of living in a co-op, and that's fine with me.

The three days at the beach were SOOOO much fun! Those guys know how to put on a good show: good food, beautiful house, perfect weather, heated pool, no crowd, fun people and booze galore -- geez I wish I were still there!

Holy geez -- i can't believe i'm going to have to wear a swimsuit in three days. i really like that i usually stick to the family beach outings -- so much better for my psyche.
