Drop Meme
This is mostly how I feel about playing, so I'm not including the IC section.
Megumi
OOC I think I settled back into a comfortable pattern with Megumi. To be honest, I've lost most of her CR in camp since I really can't keep up with the number of characters being apped, and I'm drifting apart from her previous friendships except for a couple of people. It made playing her very hard for the longest time. I'm not having many problems with her, but CR is frustrating me.
Dropping 3/10. Like I said, I'm comfortable with her now, but I'm letting her when it's no longer fun.
BUT WHAT IF YOUR PARTNER DROPPED WHAT THEN??: If Makoto and Tohru drop, I'm dropping Megumi.
Plans Try to post with her more, since I haven't done that in forever.
Soma
OOC I'm starting to miss playing S1 Soma. I love the character as a whole a lot, but I feel as if I failed making the shift from Soma to Marie to Soma to post-series. I'm really trying for a merge of the two personalities at this point, so we'll see how it goes.
Dropping 5/10. She affects the least number of people.
BUT WHAT IF YOUR PARTNER DROPPED WHAT THEN??: Allelujah has already dropped, and it's been hard, but I've been determined to play her on her own, because I'm used to playing her independently in S1. The balance is very different now, though.
Plans Jump new campers and new people, and try to develop her as a full character. I've been trying hard to avoid the caricature other players employ of her where she's either robotic or a love interested, so I'm really trying to flesh her out as best as I can.
Saki
OOC I'm getting bored with Saki somewhat, but it has more to do with the fact that I keep doing the exact same things with her every time. I've never had problems with her before, so I'm hoping this passes.
Dropping 1/10. She's easy and fun and I think of her more as a friend than a character I have to write.
BUT WHAT IF YOUR PARTNER DROPPED WHAT THEN??: Dude, if Kousaka goes, Saki ain't sticking around.
Plans Drinking party with the Genshiken, and bugging people more.
Sumeragi
OOC She's perfect. I've realized I play her very differently from all the other Sumeragis out there... And it really doesn't bother me any more. I'm so comfortable with her, and there's no guilt or annoyances attached to that.
Dropping 2/10. It would pain me in my soul.
BUT WHAT IF YOUR PARTNER DROPPED WHAT THEN??: She's the one I might keep even of all her canonmates drop, but we'll see what happens then.
Plans The AA meeting in camp.
Alto
OOC He's been my problem child for a very long time, but I'm finally getting over it. I feel I'm doing my canonmate a disservice by not playing him often, but I'm trying to remedy
that. The news of a heap of new canon material has fueled my enthusiasm for the character.
Dropping 1/10 Not very likely. I have two new movies, a TV series, and an OAV to play from.
BUT WHAT IF YOUR PARTNER DROPPED WHAT THEN??: I've said it before. If Sheryl ever leaves, Alto is leaving.
Plans Fix and fly the F4 plane, and take Makino out in it. Race with Sheryl. Figure out what's going on with Sheryl. CANON UPDATE. Alien invasion of camp.
Lynn Minmay
OOC I'M PLAYING LYNN MINMAY WHAT AM I DOING. I keep flipflopping with her. I had some non-CFUDers tell me I was doing really nicely with her, which was a big boost! But she shortly was apped elsewhere after I got her in, and my confidence shattered to tiny little bits. She's easy for me, but then I have to keep in mind that this character is bratty, selfish, and oblivious, which I really need to integrate into her character in camp. I'm in the mood for another SDF marathon, so we'll see how things go.
