Ah. Replacing carpet after painting is a wise decision... one that I wish I would have thought of before. *gr*
All this painting sure does sound like fun, but then I'm weird like that. Hope it all turns out okay. The green shades sound pretty to me.
I miss Witchblade. I'm not entirely sure how much of it I've seen though since they didn't show much past the first season here. Or if they did I didn't notice. *shrug* Investing in DVDs sounds like an excellent idea.
Trust me, Saifai, I wish I didn't have to wait to paint first. But I know I'm the one that would install carpet and then kick over a bucket of paint onto said new carpet. So... I'll wait. :O)
The painting really is fun. You get to be all introspective and such because you're stuck on a ladder with a paintbrush or roller until you're finished. And you can listen to groovy tunes or audiobooks and just sink into them, because all you're doing is slapping paint on a wall. Which might be why it's like the 4th or 5th time I've painted the basement. Has anyone kept count?
And we've been lobbying for Witchblade DVDs for years, but they just won't give them to us yet. Not sure what the deal is, but hopefully someday we'll get them!
I don't know what's the holdup. It seems like every other show is on sale on DVD except Witchblade. They're even going retro and putting those old TV shows on DVD. They know they have a fan base, so what's up?
I hope your tapes are holding up well. I'm not sure where mine are.
I can. They're punishing us for having good taste in TV, and not falling for all that reality TV crap.
That little scenario we cooked up after Angel was cancelled? (Thought up mainly by Izzy) Of us going to the WB offices and wreaking havoc on the TV executives? Ahhh... the stuff of excellent daydreams.
Maybe we should just banish them to Glen Loch, where they'll be made to wear togas and do menial jobs like the upkeep of our castle, or it's the dungeon for them! (We DO have a dungeon, don't we?) (^_~)
Ahh, I love redecorating. I really do. The work, the headaches, the huge sense of accomplishment when it's done, and how beautiful it looks. Good on ya'! (((HUGS))) ^^
