Blanket Update
The blanket has begun to take shape. Last night I was up until about 2am crocheting the squares together so that I can begin the last step, which is a border around the blanket. I'm in less of a hurry to do that, now that I've managed to get the squares together:

The border will be created in the charcoal shade that is the center of each square. A border in that color should really bring the blanket together. Unfortunately, I can't find more of the yarn in that shade. I'll have to look online if I don't have enough in my bin to finish the project.
