So. I don't watch American Idol, but my parents told me I had to watch the auditions this week because someone I know was going to be on it. Who else could it be but Adam Lambert? We went to middle school and high school together and were...maybe not best friends, but good acquaintances and did some theater stuff together throughout the years.

I thought you might get a kick out of that. I know I have pictures of us all from "A Christmas Carol" at Mesa Verde lying around somewhere... (probably at my parents' house).

I think I've seen maybe 2 episodes ever, and I was visiting my parents both times.

The only time I ever remember watching it, I was living in Santa Cruz and my friend Liana's ceiling caved in during the show!

Heh. Maybe a bit of both? No, they all were gushing about how good of a voice he has. :)

It's pretty surreal to see him on television...but also totally expected: he had a VOICE in high school. Now he also has a LOOK to go with it. Go Adam!

On a related note, did Mom and Dad ever make you watch Katie Mosier on "Don't Forget the Lyrics", (hosted by Wayne Brady)? That was also surreal...also disappointing: I remember her voice being stronger :-(

They told me about Katie Mosier, but I never got to see the actual show. I heard that her voice was not as good as it used to be. :\
