I CAN'T MAKE IT WORK!!!!!!!!!!! I'M SO ANGRY RIGHT NOW!!!!!!! :::venting::: i hate websamba... to drill in the point, let me say it again... I. HATE. WEBSAMBA. it is one of the most annoying sites i have ever worked with. it constantly has networking problems. it deletes files that i upload (unless that's u jeff?) but I HATE IT!

That probably means your computer has problems. Downtime and sometimes caching are definitely websamba issues, but I've never had problems with it deleting files. And windows doesen't exactly handle ftp flawlessly. You should try filezilla. That at least tells you if something goes wrong.

i know my computer has problems.. i never turn it off.. that wasn't the point.. it won't let me download files! and when i do, my comp won't unzip them so they're all read-only.. maybe im just technology-challenged ;-)
