AX pics and such. Proving my nerdiness.
This thing is so image heavy, it's not even funny. I just might kill your computer. And in the videos, I'm laughing a lot. I guess it's the convention adrenaline kicking in.
Day 1 and 2
Notes: Shot right after we got our badges and walked into the convention hall.
Notes: While we were shooting, a fellow cosplayer asked to take our picture. Thus, its strange and abrupt ending. But she was really cool and pointed out this one store gave out free drinks with every purchase (this was precious info, seeing as no outside drinks whatsoever were allowed in the convention center and must be bought onsite... including their $3 bottled water. Another gripe about this convention! But I digress).

Right: The display at Toei Animation FYI, that's my older sister.
Left: (Mario) Nintendo cosplay makes me smile. I can never get these names right... Princess Toadstool and Peach?
Right: (Ouran) Tamaki and Kyouya. Sadly, this picture doesn't do the Tamaki any justice. He was actually quite good-looking.
Left: (Naruto Shippuuden) Naruto, Sai and Sakura.

Right: The Akatsuki side. See the shirtless guy? He's dressed as Armstrong from Full Metal Alchemist; he just jumped in and no one seemed to care that he's not from Naruto... oh well.
Day 3
Notes: I thought it would be cool to have Ed and Al as Nikko's background ^__^.
The Bleach gathering, with only about 100 participants... 1/2 of last year's.
Left: 6th Division, with Byakuya and Renji. Notice one of the Renjis made a cool bankai ^_^.
Right: 8th Division, with Shunsui and Nanao. One of the Nanao's had a basket of petals and started tossing them, referring to one of the episodes on the Soul Society arc. Yay.
Left: 9th Division, where there are actually... "accurate" Tousens. Also, some Hisagis and one of them is really cute.
Right: 11th Division, with Kenpachi, Yachiru, Ikkaku and Yumichika. Some of the men dressed up their daughters or little sisters as Yachiru, which I found completely amusing.
Left: Proving how random AX is... dodgeball behind the Hyatt.
Right: (Bleach) Soifon, Mayuri, Rukia, Kenpachi, Ichigo.
Left: (Tekken) Devil Jin. Underneath all that, he was pretty good looking. And I was gawking at the detail of his costume. Not at his looks... no. Too bad he was sunburned (then again, everyone was).
Right: (Death Note) L Ryuuzaki and Ryuk. Why do I always think of superducke whenever I see Death Note stuff?
Left: Hard Gay x 2. The "You be the noodle and I'll be the soup" reference. They actually just randomly met and started posing together. Funny how right afterwards, they exchanged a manly handshake. Why do I always think of Knic and Makoto when I see Hard Gay?
Right: (Card Captor Sakura) Clow Reed and Sakura.
Left: (InuYasha) Inuyasha. How perfect is this shot, seriously?
Right: (InuYasha) Kagura and Sesshomaru. By the way these two were interacting, they're boyfriend and girlfriend. A lot of cosplayers do this; they dress as couples from anime (Spike/Faye or Julia from Cowboy Bebop, Ichigo/Rukia from Bleach, etc.)
Left: (Naruto) Kakashi. I only got his pic cuz he was kind of hot.
Right: (Kingdom Hearts) Sora and... erm... I'm sorry, I don't play this game. Help?
Left: Sgt. Frog, an anime soon to be released under ADV. Promotional costume.

Left: (Romeo X Juliet) Juliet/Odin. I just started watching this anime and I MUST finish what's left!

The final count of crap stuff I bought: Hikaru and Kyouya plushies (Ouran), Rukia and Renji plushies (Bleach), fanart prints of Naruto, and a 10th Division keychain (Bleach)... not pictured. I forgot it in the car.

Cosplay: 10th Division Captain and Vice-Captain from Bleach
My little sister as Hitsugaya Toushiro. You have no idea how many times she was glomped or asked to take a picture by these random Hitsu-fangirls.
Left: The obligatory Captain Morgan pose. There was a restaurant there called "Captain Morgan's Bar and Grill" and we wanted to take the shot there, but there was nothing to captain morgan with. So hence, this pic.
Right: Of all the pics with her, this was my favorite. Wistful Shiro-chan!
I've been told more than once the strawberry blonde hair compliments my skin fairly well, but since I don't take compliments well, I ignore them completely...
Left: Sitting on the same rock the Captain captain morgan-ed earlier.
Right: It looks like a candid shot, doesn't it? I guess my character is saying, "Oh Gin, what happened to you?" or something. I dunno.

So, would I go back to AX for 2008. If it's back in Anaheim, DEFINITELY. If it's still in Long Beach, that's a big MAYBE. I may be going to Fanime 2008; my sisters are trying to convince me to sell chibi art at the gallery. Who knows, we'll see.
