The frick, it's NaNo season already?

Apparently, I forget I have an LJ.

So, lots of things have happened since July.

Professionally, not really. Still unemployed, still hating myself for it, still slightly freaking out about it.

But, I did go on vacation before my then-fiance left for Navy Basic Training.

I've always wanted to see Hollywood and Disneyland with just the two of us, so we did just that.

The first leg of our vacation was in Hollywood, where we went to the Hollywood attractions, including Universal Studios. We bought season passes in January since they were the same price as admission, so might as well use them.

It took us a while but we managed to find the closest (legal) spot to view the Hollywood sign. It's in a residential area, up in the hills, near a dog park. It was totally worth the view!

At Grauman's Chinese Theater, there are celebrities' footprints in the sidewalk. That's Ricky, comparing his palm size to Will Smith.

This is the world famous Pink's Hot Dog. They are as delicious as the hype, and opened super-late. The prices are very fair; my bacon and swiss dog is about $4.

The second leg of our trip consisted of Anaheim, starting off with Shinsengumi Hakata Ramen (which is super delicious) and two days in Disneyland!

We took pictures with The Mouse! It's a little weird getting in line for a picture, considering we don't have kids with us. We were the only adults wanting pics.

Tower of Terror pic. Can you spot us?

For our first night, we got to see World of Color, that new show at California Adventure. We did the World of Color Dinner experience with Wine Country Trattoria. Best experience during our vacation (yeah, we also got drunk at dinner, so that made the show interesting too).

I'll add more pics later.

Oh.

And yes, I did say "then-fiance" earlier. We got married right before he left. But I still intend to have a larger ceremony in San Diego this spring.

I started a wedding site you all can read if you feel like.

Now, next order of business: find a SF Giants cap for my sister.
