I always find stories exploring WWI interesting - it gets much less attention than WWII, but its horrors really shaped a generation and the consequences are why we had another war to begin with.

Gwen's words in this were really touching and Arthur's grief and guilt felt very true and something I think most survivors would recognize. Very much enjoyed reading it.
