You can see the people who have signed a petition for the marriage protection act.
(the law that would take away rights for domestic partners and the ever possability of legal marriages for all.
You can search names, address, street names. See what neighbors are signing these outrageous petition.www

I understand what side of the issue I am on, but I have a major hard time with this site. A list of names, fine, but addresses? Seems a bit of invasion of privacy.

Let me put it this way, if you signed a petition in favor of gay marriage would you want that as well as your contact information spread across the digital highway for all to see? So someone could come to your house and picket, egg or burn a cross in your front yard.

There is a level of public records that should be shared. I whole heartedly believe that governement meetings and voting records of officials about official business should be listed. (It's called the sunshine law in FL) However as PRIVATE citizens there info should be kept private unless an individual specifically asks for it under the FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT.

There is nothing illegal about the above site, just ethically and morally a little suspect.

I could only imagine what would happen if the opposite was online. I cant totally see your point. Although I'm somewhat torn, I can see how this web site can be an advantage (to our side)
