just a thought...have you tried area high schools...they are always looking for coaches assistants in sports, and often they dont have certain sports teams just because they cant find anyone to coach them...just a thought...good luck...u know melbourne is my hometown, so i will look out for you if i hear anything. i interviewed last summer for the City of Palm Bay Parks and Recreation and there were a lot of job openings there...for camp counseling...etc. Try the City of Melbourne...My dad works for Parks and Recreation in PB...if your interested in working in PB I can get some info for you.
last time i was there the melb yacht club was in need of a kid cool type person and scott at performance sail was wanting to start a youth team. beth (or sean) at banana river windsurfing or thino at calema if you can windsurf but its secret that i told you about both because they hate each other. The eau gallie civic center does cute little programs for preschool kids during the day for anything they can find an instructor for like baton or flag football or w/e else. i know a few people who work at the pool at the YMCA in suntree. it might be gone but there was a cool little place on the beach called S.H.E Surfs that taught surfing to women only (so straight girls didn't have to look stupid infront of boys). FIT also does sports camps and stuff. if you end up doing something with kids look for my sibs... they will be the worst ones in every group! :) good luck!
