Concert D Major Scale...for an hour and a half...

I just finished practicing piano, and my fingers are slow just typing. I've been doing the D major scale in sixteenth notes for an hour and a half, with a metronome...I was doing it to fix my timing but I didn't even realize how long I was working at it. I'm trying to play it exactly in time with the metronome, without any of my natural lilting
