And the circus has left town. Thank god. It was getting real old breaking people out of cages only to go back and break out some more. I'm all for rescuing those in need, but really, was this curse necessary ( Read more... )

t'challa has better arrows anyway, let's not do this again, it's not a date, julian, barnum and failey circus

I'm sure several of the people that work at City Solutions would be thrilled to design specialized arrows.

I know you don't really expect me to jump up and support your company, Tony.

You're right, you probably shouldn't be supporting scientists trying to cure cancer or create clean burning fuels or regrow lost limbs.

Oh no, you don't get to try and guilt trip me. Not here and definitely not now.

Agreed.

I am glad that I no longer have to protest. It was an unusual curse indeed.

You were protesting? Did it get anything done?

Indeed. Karolina and I did; it was her idea.

I am certain we would have had more luck were it a regular circus, and not one affected by a curse.

And not a circus that used actual people as the animal attractions.

I for one am just pleased that this entire situation didn't culminate in some kind of killer clown thing.

Shut up, Billy. You'll give the deities ideas and next thing we know, Pennywise is all up in our faces.

I'm not going to answer that. I'm really not, because if I do, it'll happen.

Heads up, I'm thinking of inviting Julian over which means I'll probably hog the Wii. Or the Xbox. Whichever one you two schmucks feel like lending out for a couple hours.

I am glad that I was not caged.

I do not know where to find arrows. Sorry.

I'm glad not too many people I knew were caged. Maybe only a handful, but this curse was still a pain in the ass. And don't worry about it. I didn't think anybody would know where to find these type of arrows.

Hey, while I'm talking to you, you want to come over tonight? I'm inviting some other people for pizza and some movies. You're welcome to come by.

Ah. I should have helped cut people out.

What kind of arrows do you train with?

I would like to. Yes. Who else are you inviting?

I had help with cutting people out, but it's the thought that counts, Laura.

Different kinds depending on what I need them for. For practice, though, I just use regular cheap arrows.

Probably Julian, but I don't know if you know him. Maybe some others if I get a hold of them. It's not a party, just a random get-together.

It would've been nice, I think, if not for the fact that people were stuck in the cages.

Yeah, that was the most ridiculous part. Animals, I could deal with. People, not so much.

I think most animals-- I mean not all, because here sometimes animals are... as much people as we are... but mostly-- in circuses, they don't seem to mind it, as much, if they're treated okay. But holding people against their will...

What kind of arrows do you need?

I think the animals that are here, the ones that can speak at least, wouldn't want to be here against their will either. It was pretty much suck all around.

EMF arrows, mostly. I'm down to my last four.
