I didn't expect to see Eli. Nope. Not at all. It was only one day, but he was here and so was Cassie and that's all I could ever ask for. Well, I guess I could ask for Vision and Tommy too, but with this place, I'll take what I can get.
I'm starting to miss him again. Yeah, I'm an official idiot. Get over the boy, Katherine. Who knows when you'll see him again? You have other things to deal with.

One year. That's if you don't count those two weeks I got to go home, but that was more of a vacation than anything. I guess it could be worse. I have my best friend here ('Sup, Billy!) and I have other friends here, but still. I miss my dad, my sister, and some others at home. I even miss my sister's husband.
But that doesn't matter so much when there are others leaving every other day and those who don't have anybody here. Everybody should poke them once in a while and let them know somebody cares about them, even if they're not from the same world. I know I'll be doing it. A lot.
