Julieeeeeeeeeeee omg!!!!!!! YOURE IN BOSTON!!!!!!!! Like, boston boston or somewhere outside of boston? DUDE. I miiiiiiiiiiight visit jason over july fourth, and would love to catch up with you if possible! However the chances of that are slim, because he's been planning to come to new jersey instead! And after July, he will move to long island :(
BUT. I love boston and I bet I'll be back there sometime. Now that you've reminded me that you're in the vicinity, I will def let you know next time!!!
Hey! I'm actually in treatment now. I was inpatient for a couple months and now am doing intensive outpatient programme. Been at it for 4 1/2 months in total!
So I guess that's a good thing? It's bloody hard though, harder than I ever thought it would be. I'm just taking it a day at a time to see how far I can go. Then hopefully will be able to get on with the rest of my life and stuff.
Yay!!! I know, I read that you're in treatment and currently struggling with maintaining weight. But congrats on all the progress you've made!!! From your entries, you seem like you're in a much better place now than the purgatorium days... I think we both are :)
I wish I was feel so good about life right now. 6 years, huh? I've been in a bad place for the last 3, and it's easy for me to think I'll be stuck forever. It brings me hope to see "first hand" that things can change after so long. I'm impressed at the decisions you've made and how well they're working out for you. Actually, to be honest, I'm impressed with your parents. That they adjusted so well from being your "Asian parents" to becoming your "cheerleaders/friends" is something amazing to me.
Also, if Jason is anything like me (which he may or may not be), I'm guessing what you think is him indulging "your nerdy side", is you indulging "his man-need to explain things that excite him." But that's just me.
Aw, ted, thanks for your comment. When I saw it, I went back and read all of your recent entries (there weren't that many... ). I'm sad to hear you haven't been yourself for awhile. That's really rough and frustrating, but it sounds like you've been making large efforts to soldier on. I hope things fall in place for you soon. :)
Yeah, my parents are incredible people! They're very hands off and supportive in exactly the ways I tell them to be. I think it really settles me and forces me into a healthy routine when I have a real "home" to go to every night and meals to share, stories to tell, things to do on weekends together. We have great communication! What's your living situation like? Are you still at UW? How's Iris? You should talk more about her on Lj :)
BHahaha, I'll have to tell jason you said that and I'll get back to you on his response.
