Today's Lauren Update -

WHO"S STAYING UP TO SEE A LUNAR ECLIPSE?!!!  hell no I ain't, but I AM getting up at 4:45 to take pictures of it.  lol.  I took about 30 mins setting up my camera to figure out the best settings to take a picture of the moon, and they are gonna be awesome!  so ecstatic!

also, pancakes are mmm...

So I stayed up until 2am last night going through the advanced manual to my new Olympus 510 UZ.  Now that I have more of an idea with what I'm dealing with, I am quite happy.  Its no Canon DigitalRebelXTI, but it'll do for another couple of years.  I start my photography classes next month, and I can't wait ( Read more... )

So I've been looking at Portland State University for a bit now (5 years) and the more I look the better I like it. Its relatively close, it has the programs I want, and the city is awesome.  What is holding me back is residency I guess.  For residents, tuition is under $2000 per semester.  A non-resident pays almost $6000 for the same amount of ( Read more... )
