No, I am not on hiatus, I swear!

Erm. Sorry for the MIA. I will get back to my graphics asap, I swear. First, I had pneumonia for a month and when it was winding down....I purchased Sims 2 out of boredom (and maybe the ability to make my footballers :X). And, um, I also started reading the Twilight series and I just finished New Moon. So I've been really preoccupied :X ( Read more... )

Glad you're better from the pneumonia!
I know what you're talking about with sims 2. It's a terrible terrible addiction =D

As for suggestions, it's always good to see footie stuff from you =)

Sims2 is completely and utterly addictive. Wait till you start getting into the expansion packs; you may never see daylight again. ;)

Oh DUDE...I already started buying them *sobs* I just got the damn first game on July 29 and by the 8th, I'd bought three EPS. I realized I'd been saving tons of money for months so even though I was sick for so long, I have moolah and I couldn't resist them, I just couldn't. It's horrible. But I am afraid that my computer won't run if I get more. I have Nightlife (Pets, Bon Voyage (for when my first families kids are a little older and more manageable XD), Freetime (needed the toss football (wish it were a soccer ball), I'm a retard) but I'm dying for Seasons, Apartment Life and Open For Business like you wouldn't believe :/

I'm serious. I never got this game because I KNEW it would consume me. And it has *cries eyes out*

lol But it's so great to play if you're not feeling well! Especially if you have a lappie. ;)

I'm at a disadvantage - I switched to a Mac last year and had to re-buy all of the games. Unfortunately, the games come out slower for mac - so I have yet to play Freetime or Apartment Life!! It's killing me, but it's better on my wallet, I guess. :P Seasons is really cool - I think you'll love the addition of weather into the mix and growing gardens and stuff really appeals to my nature surprisingly, since I'm too lazy to do it in real life! lol

If you have to wait on any, I'd pass on Open for Business. It's good, but not needed immediately, ya know?

You should do sims icons. tee hee

I have University and Nightlife - I really want Seasons next, though Pets would be OK, I guess.

I love my Victorian neighborhood! The period clothes from All About Style are fabulous.

The evil part of me wants to kill someone off so I can make the rest of their family wear mourning clothes!

Glad you're feeling better. :)

I just finished New Moon. I was going to buy Eclipse tonight but I forgot my darned card. I am okay with tears. I've read so many books that have made me bawl....I tend to like them the most even though they make me sob :/

But GAH I don't want to know what happens! If it's bad, I'll live. I just don't want to know what happens :X It's so good. I usually think Vampire stuff and Werewolf stuff is cheesy but she tends to write it less cheesy. Not sure how but she does it. But this is my first vampire series. Good stuff, man.

Well, it all stops at Eclipse. Book 4 is not well written in comparison. When I say it ends in tears, I mean you should save your receipt. Seriously. :p

Hm, maybe I'll just get it at the library? :/ But, I don't think she's the best writer in the world, but her stuff is rather readable, I do like that part. And her imagination is great :D
