For some reason, I really like Italy in that first one. The pose and the cheeky expression... I wouldn't mind if Italy was more like that =D

I've had the DDR-comic saved in my inbox at DA for aaages because I wanted to leave a comment but screw that noise, I'll just do it here: I loved it. The grey shading with the red spots adds to the atmosphere, and it's kind of sad yet happy yet sad. (that first line also manages to stuck Charlotte Gainsbourg's Songs that we sing in my head, but that's hardly your fault~)

No, seriously, I like it when people give the characters a little more depth without going completely OOC.

Nope, I think the grey is perfect. It adds to the cold and miserableness of the situation. Or. Something. I just think it's perfect. (and it's a pretty song even if I'm all but fond of the Gainsbourgs...)

Yes, remaning plain on the comic "canon" is quite boring imho, it's interesting discovering always a new face of the characters!

Then it was the best choice!
