I have a new MacBook. Put in a 160GB drive. 2GB RAM should arrive next week.
Noticeably snappier than my old 12" Powerbook. Great screen.
At some point, it will have Windows and probably Linux installed under virtualization as well, but I'm waiting to hear what Apple has to say at WWDC, and for
VMWare's solution (which will hopefully be cheaper

But on this occasion, I felt that when visiting a client, an iPod-white laptop just didn't look as professional. Presentation counts in such situations.

Wow. Turns out all the waiting around I did while using my old PowerBook was waiting for swap. Switching programs is always instantaneous now.
BTW, I use menumeters (highly recommended if you have a Mac), which provides a continuous display of memory usage. On my old PB, even when it was swapping like crazy, it would have 100 or so MB of memory free, at least according to menumeters.
Anyone know why?
