Re: children and polyamory: Beekman regards Evan as his personal property-- even more that Grandma is, when Grandma visits; I expect this is because Grandma leaves the house to smoke sometimes. However, in Beekman world, Uncle Evan has no greater purpose than to be dragged around by the finger by a preschooler.
