You haven't even told the engagement story on here yet, have you? Is that the conclusion to this story? I hope so!! I mean, I know I already heard it, but that was a long time ago when it was still fresh. I'd like to read the longer version now that it has all sunk in!

I doubt myself more than I doubt the relationship. Like "How do I know if I'm as in love as I'm ever going to get?" "Is there something wrong with me for not feeling stupidly head over heels and like I want to give up everything for this person?" etc. Romance movies screw with your head like that, I think. I couldn't even watch them for a while.

hollywood love is not real love - definitely do not use that as your guideline - that is not the stuff that lifelong love is made of (although it usually grows from that)
