My advice, avoid the clams.

Yesterday was rather grueling. Headed out to Ostia Antica just after 9am, and upon arrival found the entire site -- which is rather expansive -- crawling with hundreds of schoolchildren. Went into the catacombs under Sant'Agnese/Santa Constanza today. It was quite a maze.

I've always liked catacombs. This weekend I think I'm going to go to the ossuary at Santa Maria Conceizione. Just because that's how I am.

In Rome. Long flight from Seattle to Paris, almost missed my connection. Decent apartment, good location, wireless. Finding my sea legs, revisiting places I knew long ago.
