I keep forgetting I want to comment to this... I can understand the good feeling of giving your seat to someone who needs it more... After all if ourselves don't feel good or while we're tired (or have heavy/too many luggage) it's harder to give up our seat. It feels like a victory from your own selves...? That's what I feel anyway lol (I hope I do make sense...). About the character... At first I thought it would be the chara from the crane game's youtube vid, so it's either pompompurin or one of the sumikkogurasi charas. But if it's banana fairy all I can think is TV Tokyo's mascot nanana? Hahaha... I might be wrong 'tho since we all know how Japan has too many cute anime and mascot charas.
