Frightening Dream

My dream last night:

At one point, there were exotic animals in my house in PA.

There was a large, venomous snake in my bedroom that was anaconda-sized with a red tail. It needed to be moved to another room. One bite and you would die instantly from its venom. My mother was moving another animal in the room. I left the room in order to crab a cloth ( Read more... )

Before fading completely to sleep I had one of those realistic feeling dreams last night. It was so quick and scary. I was in a big body of murky water with a lot of fish and I had no buoyancy with them all so I sank. The scary part was where I could no longer breath or call for help and I felt pressure pushing on me all over me, including my chest. I quickly said to myself ok this isn't real I need to wake up, so with all the power I could I took in a deep breath and woke up halfway through it. I feel like it was a giant moat in an ancient Asian city and I was the only one for miles or something.

Ughhhh, hate dreams like that. I heard that can happen, but its usually the other way around, you can't breath in the dream because you're not breathing in real life... but that doesn't seem likely unless you like, have a heart attack or have sleep apnea... i dunno.

Someone once told me that if you tell your dream to someone it won't come true. That's why you should always tell someone your bad dreams... the realistic bad ones at least... kind of makes sense to a point, like you know when you go somewhere and get deja vu and then you're like WAIT, I HAD A DREAM ABOUT THIS! That happens all the time but I've never told someone about a dream and THEN have it happen and be like, Remember I told you about this dream?!

the mind is crazy/scary.
