My brain activity today reflects the dismal weather: grey, overcast, and a little foggy.

This soul-sucking fluorescent lighting isn't helping either.

My determination to give up coffee for "Lent" definitely isn't helping. But at least I'm no longer spending $10 a day at the coffee shop. Hurrah for trying to cut down unnecessary spending ( Read more... )

I say "Lent" instead of Lent because my giving up coffee is more of an exercise in self-control than a religious ritual, and I feel it would be dishonest to claim I'm quitting coffee for Jesus. I'd like to last at least till Easter, but I'm going to try to stay coffee-free for even longer.
