I emailed him a few months ago asking if I would be able to send him a money order for one of his films since I don't have a credit card, and uh, still no response : /

Ive emailed him, and he wrote back within hours. I guess its how you go about it. Email him with a valid question, I dont think he would respond to 'fan girl' email. If you want to compliment him Id say go about it by talking about his talent rather then saying somthing like 'oh my god your a sex god' ,which would embaress him (even if its totally true :p ) talk about how his work has influced you ect. I think basically the main thing is ; If you want a reply ask valid questions.

I've send him a couple of e-mails, two in which I was expressing my admiration for his talent and for the message of freedom behind his art and one in which I asked him a valid question concerning one of my orders. Never got an answer... Anyway, I don't mind anymore, I'd rather have him making movies than answering e-mails. ;-)
He knows we love him! :-D
