I think it's hilarious how black people think up new slang words, and slowly white people steal them. It's like a fun little life cycle. First, the slang word is born. Then, when it has fully matured, it is exposed to us on MTV Jams. Slowly it catches on among teenagers regardless of race until it reaches old age. Finally, it promptly dies when 40 ( Read more... )

"Crunk" has been a long time coming. I think I can recall Zac Hanson spouting it off as early as 2002, and possibly earlier, though I've no idea of the history of "crunk".

Words can survive for several years among the teenage community before being killed off. It won't truly be dead until you hear it on Letterman.

I saw Weezer at Lollapalooza last Saturday night and they played that song that Chrissy Does Anal always covers...so basically I was picturing you singing it and Pat playing it the whole time. :D
