The last several hours had literally been the most eventful couple of hours Harry had experienced the entire summer so far. Sure, he had been kept somewhat busy most of the summer with chores and crummy attempts at completing his summer homework but the moment Remus and Tonks showed up at 4 Privet Drive that morning it seemed as if he was thrown into the thick of a storm of activity. He took it all in stride though; it was always like this every summer when leaving the Dursleys.

Harry was excited though. No, to say Harry was excited about coming to the Burrow was possibly the biggest understatement of the year. He had spent most of the beginning of the summer avoiding the owls and letters from his friends asking how he was doing and if he needed anything. Not that he meant to ignore them on purpose, it was just he didn't know what to respond with besides Bring back Sirius. He still had the shards of glass from the two-way mirror Sirius had given him at the bottom of his trunk and he had yet to move them since. For most of the summer, Harry tried his best not to think about that night at the Ministry and instead focused on just going day-by-day, doing whatever tasks he could for Aunt Petunia until he eventually began responding to his friend's owls.

With a sigh, Harry sat down heavily on the bed set next to Ron's. His friend's room was just the same as he remembered it from last year with a few extra additions of Chudley Cannon stuff here and there. "Ron, I don't think I've ever noticed how busy your house can be sometimes," Harry said with an exhausted laugh.
