Bellatrix was eyeing an obsidian skull in the corner. It had a note indicating it had once belonged to a long line of Dark Wizards from Russia. She caressed the air above it, feeling the magic tingle her fingertips.
Borgin and Burkes was one of the few places she let her hood down these days, her brunette curls spilling freely.

Absently, she fingered her left arm, contemplating the item and its properties. She smiled to herself and nodded, this little item would certainly be a fine addition.

The little bell above the door tinkled as Pansy entered the shop. It seemed slightly incongruous with the surroundings - like she should be entering a quaint little tea shop rather than the dark, musty, cramped little space she now found herself in ( ... )

Bellatrix turned slightly, eyeing Pansy out of the corner of her eye, then turned completely, smiling just enough to feign warmth.

"Miss Parkinson, I presume?" she asked kindly, her eyes flicking around the shop looking for anyone else. "Alone on an errand today? It seems that type of day, does it not?"

Casually, she turned back to the skull she was contemplating purchasing, her robes shuffling along the floor.

"Is it of your choosing or is it obligation?"
