i have a painted sign in my room with that phrase emblazoned on it.
it really should be tattooed on my body so i never forget it because on more than one occasion during a day i seem to.
interestingly this little faux pas of mine was brought to light in a late night IM conversation.

A fews years back, I bought a bracelet for myself that says "To Thine Own Self Be True" -- because I was learning that lesson then. The bracelet served as a visual reminder. I still love the bracelet, but I don't wear it daily because I no longer need to. Eventually, we do learn or relearn. It just takes time. And practice. *sigh*
