everything happens for a reason

Just telling the story, how things progressed, just doesn't seem to do it justice. The flow of events, the timing, who I was with, where I was, how all the little pieces could seem so insignificant but yet I am certain they are connected.

I had a friend like that. Tim died in 1987. He was a passenger in his Jeep that a drunken friend was driving. They turned a corner and Tim flew out and the Jeep landed on top of him. He died shortly thereafter.

He was gorgeous, sweet, funny...one of those "nice guys" that you rarely find in this world. Even all these years later, I can still see his baby blue eyes...

They're still with us!
