Yes...but many of those branches come into office with the President and have views the same as his, and with such quotes as "You're with us or with the terrorists" and the latter bullshit, no one on the other side, and unfortunatly no one in the media, is going to speak out for fear of looking evil.

Bush and his crew are some of the smartest people ever elected to office, they played us like a violin.
