I'm rolling in happiness today, mostly due to a spate of good news which I'll detail here in bullet form;

Urban squirrels are pretty ballsy. We had one, once, who would sit at the front window and watch the cats go crazy, knowing full well he was safe and they were wanting to kill him.

Also, Hellboy 2 is fun. Not as serious as the first one, but still fun.

YAY! This post made me bouncy with happies for you! (And squeezy at the end for the sadness). I'm so glad you got a job that sounds good and is with good people, and YAY for loving your apartment and neighborhood!! And all the other great stuff too!

Also, fat, evil, beady-eyed pooping garbage monkeys is hilarious and perfectly describes those little furry-tailed rats.

I'm just so glad you love your new home... HAPPY!!!!!

Congrats on the goods, *boohiss* on the sads (although, if I had my druthers, I choose independently wealthy over gainfully employed).

I would threaten to send evil, hideous, nasty pictures unless the sads went away, but they are too horrible (so horrible that when Bernard Spillsbury examined the residual shambles of the bungalow... whoops, sorry - I was channeling Severed Heads for a moment there) for even that worth cause.

sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

It all sounds awesome. (Except for the sadness, but without that it wouldn't sound like you at all. I'd have to assume you'd been replaced by some kind of ignorant american or terriorist (woof/boom).)

I too saw Dark Knight. Maybe it was late, or I sat too close to the screen, but it sort of seemed like it was trying to do just one too many stories. Other than that, it was ace. I'll probably try see it again before it's gone. (They were screening it, and Begins, at IMAX!)

I wanna see Chicago! And not the movie this time! I'll write more in an email...
