Calvin & Hobbes snowman series. My favourite is the snow sharks.

Am about to go to sushitown with The Husband, Jef and Margo and Chad. I cannot freaking wait - nothing cheers me up more than riotously drunken sushi chefs and their sushi.

ETA: I saw the CTA Christmas train tonight! I didn't believe it was real, but there you go. Here, and hereRead more... )

Could I please have the girl in your icon? Wrapped just like that?

One's fine, I'm not greedy.

I hope sushitown was fabulous! And thanks for the link to the Calvin & Hobbes snowman series - I hadn't seen all of those, there were some new ones (to me). I love them!

Woohoo boozing Santa! Where else would he get his Christmas cheer except for when he blows Rudolph and snorts the 'snow' dusting his sleigh?

Sushitown WAS fabulous. If I'm not lazy this weekend, I'll prolly post about it, complete with dodgy pictures.

And you're welcome - I'm not super familiar with C&H, but whenever I do see some, I dig it.

...blows Rudolph. Blows. Rudolph.

What is up with that train? Seriously, Chicago, producing the new King of the U.S. does not give you license to go sideways.

That Santa better be completely toasted.

Chicago has to make up for all the corruption with a ...drunk, Santa.

Hey lady, I have a question for you. What is the name of the etsy site where you got Wade's wedding ring? Shawn might have lost his, and I think I'd rather throw money etsy's way than ebay's if we get him a new one.

Hi sweetpea,

They're called robandlean - but I think they've closed up shop for the Christmas period? Their rings are fairly inexpensive, and typically I'd recommend the hell out of them, but Wade's (second) wedding ring (from them - the first we bought at a boutique in Melbourne) just broke, so...it's either shoddy craftsmanship (I don't really think this - I actually think, value-wise, they're excellent), or Wade is doomed to lose/break every single replacement wedding ring I buy him.

So try them at the beginning of the year? I'm not buying Wade any super-expensive rings, not at this rate.

There's also a ring I've had on my favourites forever, mostly because the girl is so nice (she contacted me when I first favourited her - seems very keen to please, and lovely to boot). She's not had many sales, but I think this is lovely;

...and not too expensive.

There's SO many excellent ring-makers ( ... )
