Persona3 Character Drama CD 2 - Chidori and Junpei
Lots of crack moments in this one.
1. Chidori and Junpei are watching a baseball game on the hospital TV, with Junpei's team losing. Chidori of course, is preoccupied with drawing. Junpei seems to be struggling to capture her attention. Then, Aigis comes in, to take Junpei home (on her rocket launchers). But then, she takes him to the game instead? He seems surprised to be here. He meets a baseball coach, who tells him he's up. He yells at Aigis, who doesn't pay it any mind. More crazy stuff happens, and there's some high-pressure bleeding going on. Two strikes! Then the third pitch, which goes straight to Junpei!.....
2. And, cut to Miss Toriumi's class. Turns out he's just asleep and dreaming. Yukari, Main, and Aigis whisper amongst each other. Miss Toriumi asks Aigis to do something and wake up Junpei, which she does by shooting at him! Junpei of course wakes up, and Miss Toriumi scolds him. So now, he'll need to do extra homework, and turn it in with a Chocolate-chip melonpan. Miyamoto is asked to lead in the bowing. Later, Junpei is still smarting, prompting Main to ask if he's alright. The gang all talk and banter. Kenji joins in eventually. More friendly banter. More talk I don't know. But it seems that Kenji catches on that Junpei is having girl problems. Then the bell rings, signaling the end of lunchtime, and they need to return to class. But Junpei lingers around to consider some stuff.
3. TV plays in the hospital. Chidori is surprised to hear Junpei come in. The two of them resume their typical talk. Eventually, Chidori gets really involved in her drawing, but becomes unsatisfied and tears it out. More talking.
4. The ocean. Chidori and Junpei are walking along the beach, having a nice time.....suddenly he hears Miss Toriumi's voice.....he tries to resume the pleasent atmosphere. Again, he hear's Miss Toriumi's voice. Suddenly, a huge wave arrives and carries him off. Yup, it's another dream. Miss Toriumi is pretty pissed.
5. After class, they discuss with Junpei his behavior today. Lots of talking, with Kenji(?) and Kazushi joining in.
6. Chidori is drawing again. Then Junpei comes in, presumably to try asking her out again. Of course, he just ends up blabbering endlessly. He mentions there's a nice restaurant out. Chidori, of course, is unsure what to think, being nonchalant about the whole thing.
7. At said nice restaurant, Chidori is impressed. The date is going nicely, with the waiter coming by with their orders. Chidori likes her meal. ....and of course, it's Junpei sleeping again. Yukari and Main are like ._.; Aigis chimes in with her thoughts. Ikutsuki comes home, with a bottle of wine, and pours himself a glass. And of course, pops a pun so awful that it makes the atmosphere cold. But does he stop there? No, he pops an even more groan-inducing pun, that even reaches Junpei.
8. Back in dreamland, the restaurant comes under attack by a Shadow. A huge one that repeats the last pun Ikutsuki used. Chidori is OOCly timid, prompting Junpei to defend her. Shadow battle! It's a tough one. Eventually, Junpei wins the battle, but is severely injured. Cliche scene plays out as Chidori cries over him. Then Junpei wakes up, thanks to Ikutsuki's puns. Junpei and Aigis talk, and Junpei finally gets the nerve to ask her out.
9. Homeroom, with Junpei turning in his homework. Miss Toriumi teases Junpei about the snack he was supposed to turn in with the work, then starts the class.
10. Junpei finally asks Chidori out, and to his surprise and relief says yes. The guy's so freaking happy and laughing. But then Aigis comes in, talks to Chidori, something about a sketchbook. Then Junpei comes in, and Aigis drags him to school. Chidori starts crying. (though without the context it's hard to know why. Happiness?)
