-- make sure they are still secure. I do not need either of them getting free and causing problems.

[Oh what's this? A conversation not meant to be heard that is. There is someone speaking back at Lazarevic, but not close enough to hear anything but mute muttering.]

I think this little arrangement will go along well enough, he is ( Read more... )

planning something, stupid communicator, you shouldn't have heard that

[ Don't worry Lazarebitch, Flynn's making doubly sure they're secured extra tight and snug. Drake's, doubly so. Sorry if you lose circulation, mate ]

Isn't it annoying how often they do that?

[ HE SAYS IN HIS SLYEST VOICE EVER ]

I really don't see why we have to involve him. Allying with Drake is begging for a knife in your back the minute you turn around.

[ what the everloving hell had been going on again? the last thing that she could even recall was something about a gun being pointed at her and now Elena was groaning rather groggily as she rose from whatever deep slumber she'd been in. the blond had heard of being wrapped up in one's blankets tightly before, but something about the feeling of being bound at the moment didn't really add up with blankets.

it might have been the lack in it being soft.

lolling her head slightly as she woke, she managed to lift her chin and peer through blurred eyes at what was going on. it was her apartment, looking like a shithole and being far from a cozy house she'd gotten too with Nate. well fuck, that sucked.

on the other hand, the two figures in her kitchen sucked a lot harder and as her eyes began to focus, life sprang into her and she clenched her jaw in bitterness.

Flynn. How she really wanted to swiftly hike her leg up and nail you between the legs right where the sun hasn't shone in many a year; give her time and she just might. If not ( ... )

[He knew what had to be done to leave the alternate Discedo. He hadn't liked hearing it one bit and he had been prepared to stay there as long as they could until something...less fatal came along.

Of course his luck wouldn't have any of that shit and he had to watch, horrified, as armed soldiers managed to break down their door. They had run, barred the doors, and attempted to stay alive, but to no avail. Eventually the bedroom door gave way. They were surrounded and he tried to negotiate frantically before they shot Elena in front of him, killing her instantly. It was the last thing he remembered; falling to his knees, gently shaking her in a vain attempt to wake her... He never saw the gun pointed at the back of his head--]

ELENA!!!

[He woke with a start in...their apartment? His breathing was ragged and though he felt someone behind him, saw familiar faces around him, he couldn't quite register who they were or where he was, but ( ... )

[He had been about to tell Flynn that Drake had always been a good idea to drag along. At least HE got things done, and fast. Didn't mean he was never thorn in his side as well, every could tell you Drake was that.

But he'll be interrupted by the two captives waking. Amused at their reactions to finding themselves tied up, he'll just offer them both that creepy evil smile of his.]

Patience, little one, things will be explained. [Said to Elena, before he looks at Drake, moving to stand in front of him, hands behind his back.]

No need for being a good host, Drake, I would rather get right to the matter of this little visit. You ran away before I could do so properly last time. [And so he'll turn away and start to pace a little as he talks again.]

You are good at finding things, Drake, a needle could not elude you in a haystack if your will was strong enough. [Yes, he is complementing you, Nate. He pauses in his step, glancing back at the tied up treasure hunter.] I need you to find something that eludes us all here.

{Whoops, what have we here? What are you kids up to?}

You know, generally, when you want to make an offer someone can't refuse, it's a little more...

Oh, I don't know, fun, if they're not tied up too. It gives a whole new dimension to a threat if their hands are only tied figuratively. Think about it? The man is free but he can't do shit unless he listens to you.

{Just a pirate, sharing his pointers... certainly not trying to figure out where you folks are so he can save whoever it is you have trapped. Nope.}

[Nothing, officer!]

Figurative hand tying is something I pride myself in. But this was necessity.

[He had to sleep sometime, and he didn't know when they'd wake up. So tying them up was needed.]

Is that so? Who are these tricky little gnats you've caught? {He assumes there's at least one, potentially two, offers one can't refuse often involve a significant other or close friend/family member.

Understandable, if he knew it was Drake he could only imagine the sort of pain in the ass he could be. Also, you need more competent lackey's Lazarevic, then maybe you could get some sleep while they stay on watch.}

None you need to know about.

[Not falling for that, man. Nice try though.

He might have left Flynn to watch them, but that lackey was also in dreamland with his two captives. Besides he couldn't trust Flynn if his life counted on it.]
