Today was the first day of farm work I have ever done in my life and it was very cool to help out an organic farm. This summer is going to be a very excellent time for me to learn the ways of farming and I hope it leads me to work that I can really feel good about. This sounds and looks kickass. I don't claim to understand the process, but I imagine it's a pretty rewarding thing to do. Is this a regular thing you'll be doing, or just a totally sweet one-off? Goats make the best cheese. Anyone who disagrees is a fascist.

I get to work on every farm that the organizagtion I work for gets food from and then I could possibly get to keep working on the ones I like in exchange for food. No commitment at all. The farm I was on also has acres and acres of woods that they let people hunt on. This summer I get to camp out there and hunt for morel mushrooms. Booyah? Yes.

Goat cheese is the best. I agree that anyone who disagrees is a fascist and can "chevre" their taste buds up their own ass! Booyah? Yes.
