I have to wonder why everyone is making MP3 players with so little memory these days. You pretty much have to get a Classic if you want all your music on it, but that wasn't always the case. I thought electronics usually got MORE powerful with time, not less.

I think companies are focusing on the "portable" part of portable music. Small, practically an accessory. I don't mind carrying around something that's ever-so-slightly bigger (physically) if it can carry 30,000 songs!

Neither do I. I get the impression that constantly having to change the music (or, alternatively, only being able to listen to a handful of albums outside the home) would be a hassle. Besides, those small ones look easy to lose.

Oh, and since your info page says you like people to introduce themselves, I'm Nathan. We have a few friends in common, so your journal comes up every so often when I check out their friends pages, and it seems pretty cool.
