This song reminds me of this past March when I visited Chicago. I did get to visit with a couple of close friends, but inbetween I spent a lot of time walking around downtown alone listening to Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. The building on the album cover is right by the Loop; I remember getting so exhausted and getting on the L just to have a place to sit down and close my eyes for a bit.
Of course when I move there I'll have lots of songs to remind me of the city, but "Radio Cure" reminds me of the noisy meditation of being alone in a wonderful, new city.
