If I leave my house at 7AM, board a flight at 11AM, sleep maybe two hours, arrive in DC twelve hours later, sleep an hour on the flight out, arrive in Boston at 3PM Boston time (5AM Japan time), and help out at a This Is How Rumors Get Started show from 8PM to 1AM. Did anyone else know about this song? Honestly I have no idea how to feel about it at all. Terrifying, but cute, but mostly terrifying.

If I were really really Japanese today I would be celebrating my seijinshiki (coming-of-age thing for people who are turning 20). On the news this evening they showed all these smiling happy Japanese people my age in kimonos and suits at their local municipal governments doing whatever it is you do in a seijinshiki ceremony. I realize now that have been out-and-out plum unproductive over this winter break!
