Isn't it obvious?

*solemn* that is certainly a word for it.

(If anyone had tried to explain what it was to me before I read this series I would have RUN SCREAMING I think. But no-one did. So I read it. And almost laughed myself to death.)

I don't know what astounds me the most.

Is it the Zeppelin reference? Is it the plot? Or is it the fact that it has spawned over 20 volumes.

All in all, I'd like to read it for some reason.

Seriously. It's sort of... fabulous? Horrifying? Some combination thereof, in varying degrees? I just keep reading but I am not entirely sure why. I think it has something to do with Klaus and the size of the stick up his arse, although clearly Dorian is not equal to the task of removing said stick. No-one is.

HOLY SHIT! 1976! This is what I get from being half-asleep and reading LJ. It's one year older than I am.

This series sounds like a well deserved guilty pleasure, like me and "Gossip Girl".
