Rose of Versailles is a classic shoujo series from the 70s, manga and anime (though getting hold of more than a couple of volumes of the manga in English is a losing battle, I'm afraid, even in scanlation; the anime is less of a challenge). The manga is by Ikeda Riyoko. ( Why do I love RoV? WELL. MY RAMBLY INCOHERENT THOUGHTS LET ME SHOW YOU THEM. )

Yeah. She insisted I post my version. *laughs* We're on a never-ending quest to make people give a shit about RoV! It would go better if we were actually... outgoing. And persuasive. XDDD

Oh, he's having a sparkly moment. This happens. People's eyes have frequent shoujo moments. ESPECIALLY WHEN LOOKING AT OSCAR. They sort of go Oh! Oscar! and then they sparkle.

Ah, Rose of Versailles, I have missed the sparkles and the doom. Oscar running around in tight trousers isn't half bad either.

I know, I know. I do hope it comes back eventually but under the circumstances I can see why it'd hide from manga.

Oh, because it's just not like that. It's more of a massive confusion than a threesome. I have complex theories on this topic! Which I will post one day. >_>
