Name: Meirael - meaning 'Giving God's Light'
Age: Older than she cares to remember
Race: Angel, appears Indian
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 174 lbs., including wings.
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Brown/black
Wings: Brown/grey, like a
gray partridge.
Strengths: Meirael is very resilient. Having been enslaved for so long, she's seen both the best and the worst in humanity and still has faith that something good will happen.
Weaknesses: She isn't very physically strong. While most angels can defend themselves in a physical altercation, Meirael is easily beaten.
Natural abilities: As a healer, Meirael can use her Grace to mend wounds - and while she's tried to heal wounds of the psyche, she's yet to be successful.
Hobbies/talents: She's learned over the years that she's very good at childcare and, though one of her former owners once made certain she knew how to play the piano, she hasn't had the chance to practice that skill lately.
Appearance: Meirael is of a common height and build and appreciates it for the slight camouflage it can be. In America, she stands out with her darker skin, but her hair is at least a usual colour, though dark. Her master is generous and if she wants any cosmetics, they're usually hers within days, and from time to time, she does experiment - but she's assured everyone that she sees no appeal in trying out extreme looks. She prefers to appear normal.
Attire: Meirael's wardrobe was one of the sticking points in Aaron's former marriage. He had no trouble spending as much money on the angel as he did on his wife. Meirael, however, chose a few sari to go along with her jeans, slacks, and blouses, all of them carefully altered to be worn around her wings.
Personality: There is a warmth about her. It's not unquestioning and it's not all-trusting, but thanks to the good treatment of late, Meirael has regained some of her hope and faith. She has a strong aversion to pain and suffering thanks to both what she went through and her healing abilities and can't quite stand some of the crime scenes she's had to go to, but she accepts why she's had to go to them and appreciates the consideration. She's happiest when she's home with the people who consider her family, taking care of Jack after school and making Aaron get the sleep he needs of the night.
