Ooh, I really want to see Pike meeting Jim now! Seriously, I'm so looking forward to the next parts and how this story will evolve.

Hee! Yeah, I think this whole fandom is a little Pike starved. Honestly, when I started writing, I didn't think I'd include so much of the good captain/admiral/lieutenant in anything I wrote. Jim comes very naturally to me because, let's face it - I'm pretty much a female version of Kirk, minus the fornicating. But when I started writing, I realized how similar Pike and Jim are in the sense that Pike is just an older, wiser version of Kirk. And once I realized that, all bets were off. My 'verses went from being Kirk and McCoy centric to Kirk, Pike and McCoy all sharing the spotlight ( ... )
