Today was awesome. I made it true that I would smile a real smile.
Started off waking up at 10. Overstatement as I did not even sleep last night. Either from my messed up sleep schedule or excitement. I just could not get a good nights sleep. Tossing and turning. Once I got up I waited for friends to get ready and finally got going around 11:30.
Arrived at Galleria mall to see a whole bunch of stuff set up. A vert ramps, one for bikes to jump, whole stage.
Checked it out. Apparently battle of the bands. First band to go was pretty much a Vegas Paramore clone.
Went in mall to eat cuz hot outside. Went back out. There was booths for bunch of promotional stuff. This got2b gel booth had girls and one offer to "do" my hair. All she did was wet it and put gel in it and it was horrible and my hair was nappy the whole day. Next to that booth was a Guitar Hero: Metallica booth. If by the time the day wraps up you have the highest score you win a Metallica Converse sneaker. At a time we held the highest score at 600k. Went to see next band, was some dudes, Fearless Fearless or something. Went in mall to get drink. Come back, check GH scores, new highest is 950k! We're all like "Fuhhhhhhh" and try over and over to beat it, highest we can get is 930. Eventually some other guys come and blow them out of the water with 1.5mil and they take away the dry erase board to use that as the highest scorers. Friend stacks this other team and gets 1.9 but does not count. I feel sad for him.
3rd band is another Paramore clone. First band won.
Some other band played while I'm at mall. Can hear bass from bathroom.

They played a few new songs. Love Maker and Secret which were both released on an EP. One other song I didn't catch the title of and Firefly. During both Firefly and Love Maker I had welled up tears in my eyes.

I got autograph with the guys but no pic WITH them. I did see Justin in the mall before it got packed and crazy and I shoulda asked to take a pic! He was like a foot away from me, I regret that so much hahahaha I was like star struck, jumping up and down and cursing my missed opportunity.
After seeing my favorite band we went straight to church to take part in what was left of this Super Saturday. We were supposed to play basketball but it had gotten late, so I helped clean up, moving speakers and ball nets. And I saw her.
She was dressed nice. In a yellow top, a dressy one, I don't know what they are called. And shoes, cute ones! I bumped into her and waved my awkward wave. "Oh... hey." God, what have I been doing wrong? She was holding New Moon. She told me of how she didn't care much for Twilight til she saw the movie and now she's in love with Edward Cullen. Fuck do you gotta say his full name? Second girl I lost to this fictional fuck.
Someone tell me why at this moment I was like ddd I really don't like you anymore, lol. But... I added Luis and his sister on myspace. Waiting for their acceptance.
I kid.
I'm glad the last thing of my night, the night where I spent much of it smiling with my friends and singing along to my favorite band, was to see your smile.
